I am sure it uses a standard dictionary such as SOWPODS, which excludes proper nouns among other things.

Consistent opinions are a good thing as long as unbiased, informed data continues to support that choice. One must know, though, that it's not infallible, but it's good enough, given the information provided. Consistency is good. Blind de

Well put. My thoughts were similar that if the safety net were to allow for excessively risky behavior (as in unsustainable, non-profitable, or predatory business schemes) with repeated failure and limited negative side effects, it could be

The concept is very cool, but I find the UI lacking. I'd expect to see a cumulative expansion from patient zero, with a more continuous timeline. This appears to show the current visitors at that moment in time, which could allow for the

It's does seem rather sci-fi to send a robot in your place or to embody a robot that is at a location where regular people are also located. I can more easily accept the idea of a telepresence robot in an office, but even that is rather un

Very nice! Any tips/issues on making it responsive to the window size? Having just viewed at the demo and not really digging into the code, I am not sure if this is rather obvious or not. Thanks!

It would be nice if the wages were standardized against cost of living. This would show where the wage truly equates to higher compensation.

The name Collusion elicits negative connotations and my initial reading of the title led me to think that there was come wrongdoing on Kickstarter's part. I really would reconsider the name of the name of the company / product, unless this

You are really missing the point. All of this is security theater. It will not catch people who want to exploit weaknesses. The 9/11 hijackers used boxcutters, not much different than a shiv as he describes. The problem with "outcry" in

This quote from Christopher Dodd, heard on NPR the day after the blackout, really irked me: "It sort of reminds me of kids who can't get their way hold their breath and start screaming, instead of engaging with the debate and providing info

"The facility’s central kitchen cooks an average of three tons of pork and 13 tons of rice a day." The massive scale of Foxconn really hit me when I read the amount of food served is measured in TONS per day.

It appears to be a style of his site. There isn't a single capital letter to be found. It's intentional rather than lazy, although it doesn't make it any less grammatically incorrect.

Honestly, this argument is REALLY weak. Hollywood spends millions of dollars to create these movies. To pirate it and not compensate the companies involved is irresponsible, selfish and ignorant -- it is stealing. There is is great amoun

If I am not mistaken the main problem with a frameset would be that the URL in the address bar will never change and therefore you cannot link directly to a page within the frame, i.e. where a user wants to copy the URL and share with a co

Interesting. Their pre-order system went down from heavy traffic this afternoon, and now I see a redirect to Best Buy for pre-orders. I wonder if a quick deal was struck between Nest and Best Buy to get the pre-orders back online quickly.

I wonder if the currency conversion logic is mixed up. Google returns: 1 US dollar = 0.9839 Canadian dollars. I wonder if it's dividing by .9839 instead of multiplying by it, which does get you close to 9.16.

I have to agree, the thing that struck me first was the poor photography (washed out, hazy photos) and second, the ill-fitting shirts -- too large and baggy on most models. EDIT: Having read your story, Go Penn State! Good luck to you.
