138/20 down/up for me on Virgin (Google speed test, Manchester to London, using wifi). Was sold 200/20, and have got that in the past using Ethernet.

I'd greatly prefer a title such as "Mac OS defaults I prefer". I read the first page or so and honestly didn't find any that I would actually want. Labelling these "sensible" then suggests that the alternatives

It's more a $60 mic. Most of the time people just don't know their audio is a problem, and all of the times I've pointed it out it's got fixed. PTT isn't 0 cost if you take into account the reduction in fluidity of

I run a couple of programming groups currently over zoom. Usually between 5 and 15 people. I will tell people to get headphones or fix their audio issues (breathing/mouth noises) and I will mute them if they don't make progress on

yeah, Zoom has PTT of a sort, you can mute and unmute yourself as you wish (and I will mute myself when I know I'm not going to be taking part in a call for a long period). That said, you still need a decent mic if you're using PT

Because it's weird. I've done it, pressing a button to laugh feels really strange and fake. You can solve the issue with a decent quality mic (which you should have when you're using PTT anyway) and by using headphones, so th

A better microphone would fix that, and has the added advantage that when you Do P to T your audio quality isn't crap for the duration you're saying stuff. I use a Blue Snowball, it's great, there may be better alternatives.

We get stuff delivered here. We use three of the major supermarkets. I prefer to choose my own veg, but in the current situation I'll accept not being able to.

Agreed, the series was a masterpiece, though I am not sure I recommend watching the sequel series (I forget the name). I think I preferred the suspense of the first series as the ending. Also, watch the series not the film (if you must, wat

I think this is a balance. Being the only house in the area that can't be seen into might get you more attention someone being able to see you in your underwear at a 50cm x 50cm resolution.

I'm curious about the source here. I've always been taught (mid 40s, UK) to use "" not '', well before US English became readily accessible on the Internet.

I enjoyed the open air sections of Far Cry 2, but definitely found the later games to be repetitive and formulaic to the extent that I never finished 3 or 4, and just never bothered buying 5. It being made by Ubisoft made that decision a bi

Wether the programmer chose to do something is a large part of the issue here. An explicit return says "I chose to do this". An implicit return in these examples says "There may or may not have been a choice made" and th
