I can't find an authoritative source for the original quote, so I found something that I believe to be close but didn't want to give it the authority of "quote" as it could be innacurate.

I'm criticising two things. 1. People with so much money that they have enough to save thousands of people from starving to death, or dieing from prevantable diseases etc. etc. without ever noticing the difference to their wellbeing. 2

What is your point? I have to be perfect before I can criticise other things or people? I happen to be trying to make enough money so I can safely retire, hopefully before my mind and/or sight gives out, and so I can send my kids to un

I don't really get what your point is. I was aware that Bill Gates had given away at least half his money, given that he's still been left with more money than he could ever need by some large margin I'm not too interested in

The quest is ~72Hz. We (the VR community) moved on from 75 Hz many years ago through 90Hz, and my Index currently does 120, with an experimental 144Hz mode. Research (mostly by Valve I think) has shown that the higher the framerate the less

I still use a 2014 era Apple wireless keyboard and prefer it over any of the mechanical variants I’ve tried. Key travel distance is a personal metric.

I absolutely believe that PHP is worse than many, if not most, other langauges. I have programmed (in a non-trival way) close to 10 programming languages (and fiddled with more) over more than 20 years. Of all those, there are only two that

Are you saying that PHP is only suitable for trivial non user-facing apps? We are in agreement! The reason you need to know all the edge cases though is because when you write a sigle line of PHP you need to know how to avoid the edge cases
