Yes but still, talking to someone helps. No matter what they say back. If an LLM is the only thing around at the moment (e.g. in the middle of the night) this can be useful for therapeutic purposes. Therapy isn't only about what the th

I think the OP meant the general public trusting him with our data. Rather than some promises he made to some investors.

I think the keyboards are still way worse than what they were before Butterfly. The 2010-2015 models had more travel and better feel to me.

The Nvidia ones were too. Remember the BGA issues? I remember Apple even sued Nvidia over them. The AMDs were the 2011 BTW. The 2010 were Nvidia 320M and 330

Yeah the new app isn't actually an app. It's just a web service. It's terrible. You have to hand off all your emails to the Microsoft cloud just to use it.

Yes it can lie. But so do friends. They're not licensed therapists (well at least not most of them). Still it helps talking to them. I'm not saying it should replace the actual therapist. It can just be somebody to discuss things

Absolutely true but I don't think a person should rely on an LLM alone for that reason. It's just not smart and insightful enough. It's more like that really good friend that's not a therapist but always tells you what y

Therapy is a bit different though. It's meant to make you think. Get your mind unstuck from the loop or spiral it's in. Generally you will know what's wrong but your mind keeps dancing around it. There's a lot of eleph

I do use my AI as an augmentation of therapy. It can help in the moment when it's 2am and I'm upset. It can mirror like a therapist does (they don't really tell you what to do, they just make you realise what you already kn

If it were really that disruptive we'd see crime rise and police effectiveness reduce drastically. This isn't the case. Society is just as safe as 20 years ago if not safer. I'm sure sometimes this has an effect but most crim

Well 32-bit kernels yes. 32-bit binaries not so much. Besides, it should be possible to patch them. Just append zeroes to every memory operation. Or run them within QEMU or something. This stuff is so old that any performance penalty will b
