It’s been too long since I’ve played with Lua to recall whether this would also be the case, but in JS the nullish coalescing operator is useful over logical OR because it prevents false-y values (0, empty string, false) from being treated

At this juncture there's no reason to think (quite the opposite really) that LLMs are any better at the kind of sophisticated reasoning presumably necessary to prove something like this than human computer scientists are.

Instead of the "deep path properties" syntax, you might want to take the opportunity to learn about functional lenses with monocle-ts https://gcanti.github.io/monocle-ts/

Your point is well-made, but I'm going to nitpick anyway. Video games have been around, at this point, for 40-50 years. On that basis alone you'd certainly expect the majority of human video gaming enjoyment to predate the A57. Th

That's possible. I'm aware that Hamas filmed much of what they did, and that they committed rape and torture in addition to murder; I'm not aware of the contents of much of the footage available because I'm, frankly, too

Why are you talking about photos? The word "footage" refers to video, and I was replying to a post which said specifically (emphasis mine): > Another possible explanation for this skew is that TikTok and IG are primarily *video

It's also the nature of the violence. It's generally acceptable to show shots of bombed-out buildings and the like, or even display injured or dead bodies. The footage we and Israel have from Hamas depicts first-hand murder, rape

This comment is misleading. Z80 also has an 8-bit external bus. And, FWIW, so does the 6502. The reason zero page is fast on the 6502 is because of more concise encoding, not because that memory is somehow faster. I'm broadly skeptical

The problem is that, while young people have been more pro-Palestine for a long time, historically a much smaller percentage were immersing themselves for hours a day in increasingly sensationalist, often misleading pro-Palestinian content;

Pursuing gradual typing makes sense when you've got an established dynamic language and want to incorporate typing into it (forget Elixir, let's just look at the massive success of TypeScript). But as OP's recommendation says

You should warn your family member that keeping rice at room temperature is a really, really good way to give yourself serious food poisoning - it's an ideal breeding ground for Bacillus cereus. Google "fried rice syndrome".

A rice cooker is even easier than that, but most importantly: you can throw the rice on in the morning, go to school/the office, and come home to hot rice, ready-and-waiting in the evening.
