Jet engines are on the order of 50 MW, and big turbines are on the order of 10MW (at least, onshore ones). So you’re really only talking small multiples of the flight time, which is minimal compared to the lifetime of a wind turbine.

My recollection is that the dots were round on my dot matrix. But it also used a typewriter ribbon, so there was a bit of texture from that.
