Not really. As costs go up, you can mitigate by pushing more of your data out to slower mediums, like hdd.

There should be results. Tech giants are too big to fail, as are the big banks and insurers. If we break up the banks and insurers by product offerings, then why not break up big tech? Each company gets split into 3 smaller firms, each with

As long as merchants use dark ui patterns, a misleading or anti-merchant response from consumers is justified. I for one am appalled that visa is making merchant fraud easier, making payments less controlled by cardholders.

> how much unionized labor developers would have to use to take advantage of the streamlining That seems like a reasonable clause to me. It sounds like what anyone would want their union to do.

If it is close enough for a real bank in USD, it's probably okay for an exchange in bitcoins, right? If the bank/exchange maintains a 5% reserve, every unit of currency can produce a multiplier/velocity of 20. Bank loans subs

There is. You build a network of analog cables. Use a sound board to 'switch' the channels. This leads to headphones on 3.5mm jacks, and one or more zones of stereos connected by RCA. This 'network' is as solid in 2022 a

That market needs to be guided away from fossil fuels. How would such a market cover solar and wind when they dont make enough? Batteries? Huge hydro storage? That sounds more expensive than nuclear.

My argument for nuclear: the alternative low-carbon base load is grid-scale lithium ion batteries. That tech is ,(AFAIK) 10 years out from reaching both the scale and price point needed. Also note that solar and wind need enormous amounts o

There are a couple of things to consider. The solar and wind need to be overprovisioned, to feed the grid scale batteries to provide baseload. Those batteries are currently not cost effective, which is why there are very few such batteries

Because the land needed for equivalent solar and wind would be massive. There would be no room for NIMBY. Imagine someone you love would lose their home so that a windmill could be constructed. Every city park would need to have a huge wind
