A small counterpoint: My $DAYJOB's architecture is completely self-hosted (Proxmox, Nomad, etc). I would not prefer to have some external tool managing that infrastructure.

Does anyone know how the latest changes/fork affect downstream software like Proxmox, or is it too soon to tell?

I'd love for something like this for my workflow, but I don't keep my keys on my disk currently, so I don't think it would work for me. I currently use KeepassXC to manage my ssh keys, but then get tripped up with the multipl

The database engine IBM DB2 didn't (doesn't?) officially support Centos. It had to be RHEL.

Fwiw, we moved (are moving) on from RHEL and derivatives to Debian/ Ubuntu servers at $DAYJOB. We were planning on deploying Centos 8 before the Stream debacle came along.

We implemented this for our shared storage at $DAYJOB. We had a long tail of decade old files on our shared drive, so we started again with the Johnny Decimal system on a new one. It's helped tremendously for us for finding stuff. I

If it helps, I'm currently running a Windows kvm guest that runs WSL2, but I had to change my processor type. Ubuntu 22.04 Host, virt-manager/ qemu/ kvm hypervisor Win10x64 Guest, CPU model is set to "Broadwell-noTSX-IBR

My device is a OnePlus phone. I don't see the option you're talking about in my hotspot settings, but maybe OnePlus made it the default.

I think my Wireguard VPN already does this, sans root? I enable my VPN and my hotspot connected laptop is now routing its traffic via my house. Or am I missing what you're looking for?

I miss the Atrix. The desktop mode running Ubuntu was great at the time, and once jailbroken, could install normal packages, which turned it into a great remote access machine between Remmina and terminal.

I think some multiplayer protocols still don't work under Linux. Directplay from Microsoft is still broken for older games like Freelancer [1]. Single player works just fine. [1] https://appdb.winehq.org/viewbugs.php?
