I use an app like this that I built myself. It's great to recap yesterdays work for a standup, or the previous month for a retro. Those are my most regular usages of it, but every now and then I am able to use it to recall something I

There shouldn't be much coping considering that Rewind has been a thing for a long time and is already a giant. I also work on a similar app (AI-less, though) and my initial though was, nice, more eyes on this sort of apps, I might get

Very nice. The section "A word about math" really is important. I am admittedly not good at math, but I was able to build a VERY (extremely, even) rudimentary physics simulation many years ago by really really simplifying the math

If you still want something to look back at your usage, I am making https://screenmemory.app which is sort of like Rewind, except without AI (only text search) and a nicer timeline.

This is what I added to my macOS app recently, foreground app metadata. It is displayed on the timeline if you look at the pictures on my website (screenmemory.app). For my use case it was night and day in UX.

I can't speak for the mentioned app (rem), but I built my own app with a similar feature set called ScreenMemory ( https://screenmemory.app ). Which I have obviously used for an extended period of time (coming up on 7 months

I skimmed the first 25 results and I saw nothing. No results on indiehackers.com either. Fake it until you make it is a thing, I know. But still..

How come the data was so hard to find? I'd imagine Ferrari of all cars would have had multiple sets of fully fleshed out data. I know nothing of cars though, so maybe this is uncommon. Is there a possibility that you've even misse

Are the 'as seen on' plain fake? As seen on TikTok, but 'satellitor' or 'satellitor.com' doesn't have any results as far as I can see.

In my experience Slack becomes buckets within buckets, so I still rely on the 'feed' - i.e. the 'threads' aggregator to find which one of the dozen sub-buckets are actually discussing X and Y. Not to mention the infinite

If I may do some advertising, I specifically disliked the timeline in Rewind.ai so much so that I built my own application https://screenmemory.app . In fact the timeline is what I work on the most and have the most plans for.

It cleans it in terms of identifying large files, duplicate files/images, shows you caches for apps, uninstaller, which apps and files are old and never/rarely used. And so on. It's more of a convenience tool than anything. D

My lowtech solution was to make a function with an array of hardcoded paths, it would then present a menu where you could select 0-N and it would jump. It also started with Terminal.

Highly recommend making a simple script to do this, I distribute two apps manually and all I have to do is to kick off "./distribute.sh 1.2.3" which does every step required.

I think the name is genius, you'll never forget it and if you ever need to implement a basic stroke recognizer you'll undoubtedly think of this. At least this is what I have done many times in the last decade.
