This is the reason why I am reluctant to dive into the android ecosystem. And i wonder why not more people are? Your phone becomes basically a giant google-keylogger, with geo capabilities.

Are the developers at Cupertino themselves not fed up with this? Working on 2013 Mac Pro's or perhaps, they're all on hackintoshes.

That's great from Griffin, kudos to them for doing this. And shame on Apple for dropping the ball. It's too bad we'll never know what would have happened under Jobs. What annoys me is that for example Lenovo has 30 notebook m

There is very little information in this post. The only question I had after reading this was: how does one become become a blogger that gets a Macbook Pro from Apple to review?

If you read all the comments here, nobody seams really 100% happy with their laptop. And apple really blew it.

Also, lets not forget Apple is under some largely false pressure. We have been reading time and time again, basically since Cook in charge that real innovation stopped. I personally think that this could be one of the factors why there is s

Anyone else here still working on a Macbook Pro 17" ? Seems like everybody forgot about it, but was a great machine back in the day. And you could even buy a matte version of the screen.

What I absolutely do not comprehend: is it so difficult to upgrade the Mac Pro's? Isn't it a matter of just adding more powerful hardware to it? Like I did myself back in the days, when I built my own PCs. But then in mass product

And some day, it might take a few years, some smart guy will quote me that Android is like Windows, back in the day, and that Apple is still Apple.

Oh so he GAVE is old hardware and GAVE his credit card to this relative. How conveniently coincidental. I think Apple did fine here, actually.

Their API is still quite generous compared to others. The only thing I blame them is the insane prices for gnip data, which alienates any normal developer outfit that isn't overly funded.

Very true. Empires build by companies with low ethics and that are known for bullying competition and poor integrity. Some skepticism here would be appropriate. I guess it's still better then them buying more, eh, yachts. Still, I can&

I noticed a certain point, experimenting with todo lists and productivity apps, became a thing of its own. Tweaking Omnifocus to perfection, for example. I threw them all out and am using a reporters notebook (which is a good format, btw),
