I went the Intel NUC8 way a couple of months ago after wanting larger 4k displays and faster drives. Pretty good value for money. I dont game etc, so I just needed the basics.

No thanks. We have enough smartness from Samsung TVs and their Mobile phones as it is. It's a shame because their HW is value fo rmoney, it's the software that seems to want to waste your time. Are there any electronics companies

America still has cheap gas and taxes in comparison to many places in SE Asia. If you factor in real wages, direct and indirect taxes and the lack of social security nets, I guess places like India etc would look real expensive.
