It's not that you should want that specific persons respect, it's that you should want a person who respects you instead of one who doesn't.

Yes, research into space travel and what not might benefit Earth but not nearly as much as dumping all the money into researching Earth as a primary goal.

I don't understand why you avoid a phone with biometric unlock. It's an optional feature that you don't have to enable.

Second to no tech companies, sure, but Apple would presumably be competing with companies like Volkswagen, BMW, and Mercedes which are almost definitely better at designing luxury cars than Apple.

It really wasn't as massive a leap as you make it out to be. It's likely that we would have ended up with something very similar to today's smartphones even if the iPhone had never existed. It wasn't the first smartphone

Martin also sells mostly or entirely acoustic instruments, not electric. I would guess that acoustic guitar sales have remained more consistent than electric guitar sales over time. Part (most?) of Gibson's problem is that the guitar j

They do not include that one as standard, as far as I know. If you are someone who charges your phone while listening to music on a regular basis, then I can see the lack of headphone jack being an issue. The real solution for that problem,

Passive USB-C to 3.5mm are the problem and should be avoided, in my opinion. A USB-C to 3.5mm with a DAC inside can be used in any USB C port. A passive adapter will only work in some USB C ports. I don't expect USB C ports on lapt

In this case, it will actually just work. People have been using USB audio DAC's since at least 2002. Unless you're using something aimed at professional musicians with a lot of inputs and outputs, it's just plug and play wit

That would make sense. I believe many apps, including Chrome and Firefox, do the same thing with RAM. If it's there, might as well use it.

Well, you could remove the headphones from the adapter and plug them into your laptops 3.5mm port. If Apple was using USB C like they should be, then you could just plug them straight into that port.

You can if you don't want to keep track of a single adapter. I personally have two, one for the car and one for everywhere else. You can blame Apple for using lightning if you have problems with non universal, non proprietary standards

It will work with any phone or PC with a USB C port as long as the OS supports USB audio devices. As far as I know, all the major OS's support those. Even iOS if you have a lightning -> USB adapter. Technically it draws power but it

There's an emulator called Hercules that can run z/OS, OS/390, or MVS. The hard part is getting a copy of a recent version of the OS. Luckily, z/OS takes backwards compatibility very seriously so an older version won

That wasn't the only reason they scrapped it. There is a good argument to be made that the 3.5mm was a redundant port because lightning/USB C are both capable of sending audio (with the assistance of an adapter until lightning&#x

The Pixel 2 XL has had a lot of issues since it launched (I preordered one and ended up returning it). However, I would say that the Pixel, Pixel XL, and Pixel 2 are equal to the iPhone in hardware quality.

Android itself takes up 9GB on my Pixel 2. 4.7GB is taken up by the apps and whatever they are storing (Chrome takes up the most, with 1GB). I also have 4GB in music. I don't consider myself a heavy storage user but 16GB is a really ea

Bluetooth has quality issues compared with an AUX cable unless you're using the fancy codecs that aren't supported by most devices. Also, anecdotally, I drive a Chevy from 2012 with no bluetooth for anything but answering calls. C
