I don't have a long term plan but I can assure you that it won't ever be expensive (I'm from a third world country anyways) and early adopters today will never be charged. It's going to be free for a long while though.

Don't worry the contents are all automatically generated from example data (Tatoeba) and the dictionary, nothing is hand crafted. I sure wouldn't trust myself writing correct Chinese sentences hehe.

Not sure what those apps are but I'm not from China and actually started coding this app to learn Chinese myself.

Not for now, it only has a calibration quiz on entry to find out where you are in the vocabulary by-character rank (that probably correlates with HSK levels somehow) and start from there.

The ios version is actually ready right now, I'm just putting off filling the "paperwork" and some tiny fixes. You can try it out through expo: https://expo.io/@haint/autolang-zh

I dont think that'd be very useful. Proton is pretty much native C with just a JS runtime on top, it might even be faster than Qt. So a benchmark against Qt maybe?

I mean, the whole world would be cheering if NK would do that. We totally don't need to care that NK is an authoritarian regime if it's being nice and doing a good job for its citizen and the world. Whatever peaceful version of NK

I think he means indirectly sell , which is kinda true. By letting the CA scandal happen, they seriously sold a lot of data. Not what they really wanted to do, but their reckless policies and vague morality standard caused that. Also, noth

Design drawings is an implementation, not an API. Copying a drawing is like copy-pasting code from someone else. Something akin to API in art would be style . If you allow style to be copyrightable, it would mean any apps following the Mat

Yoga is a Layout engine, not a UI or graphics engine. It's output is basically just the size and position of those objects put into it. So you'd need a bridge to use it for existing UI systems or build a new UI system on top of it

There are a lot of people selling and buying oil, thus changing the price every second. But there's no person looking at the wind and wager at what the "wind price" would be! You can never change your price if you wrote it in

go-qml/qml is just a tiny wrapper around the QML API, which is nothing compared to this. This library covers the whole entire Qt framework (Qt Widgets libraries + QML + everything else).

Improvements? How much? They ruined OpenOffice, triggering the LibreOffice fork. They ruined MySQL, triggering the MariaDB fork. The original Sun would have done 10X better improving those things they made.

Such a bad idea, fanboyism is too strong here, Rust is one of the slowest languages to compile, and incremental compilation isn't even available yet. Your new language's compilation will take pretty much forever.
