I read once that we share 99% of our DNA with Chimpanzees but we also share 95% of DNA with fruit flies. So if the viruses are 89% similar does that mean the difference between SARs and nCOV is bigger than the difference between a human an

The reason clouds are starting to be simulated now where they weren't before is probably because we have only recently had the computing power available to do this at the level of detail required. Switching the 'clouds' featu

That is a dogmatic statement not supported by any evidence. Many countries have really quite efficient governments. e.g. the UK spends less taxpayers money per person on healthcare than the US and we have free medicine, longer life expect

You are right, a bus trip I used to take regularly in London would take 15mins if you got the first bus at 5am, which was quite busy with shift workers. At 9am it would take 45mins with a similar level of crowding. A good portion of the jou

I think the french do a better job though, the TGV is way smoother than Virgin Trains despite travelling at about twice the average speed. You could do a hand drawn sketch on a TGV, you can't do this on a UK train.

They accurately simulate the forces on the controls, see this youtube of 737 pilots unable to manually trim in the simulator [0], but I don't think they could anticipate and simulate every single possible fault. https://www.

Have a look at this [0] as an example airport where there are no ducts or fans at high level. The skylights are probably automatically controlled to vent smoke using stack effect only and the undulating roof will act as a smoke reservoir to
