I hadn't thought of it that way, but you raise a good point. At what point are people enabling you and at what point are you just being prideful (if you take it or not). Obviously you have to have some discretion, but I've always struggled

I definitely was told not to, and we did it anyways. I guess it's one of those "watch out, the pot is hot" type of scenarios ... I had to touch the pot to really "know" I am making an effort now to keep asking myself the hard questions.

Not that I don't believe you, but really? For example, any website I've built I can surely make with just a text editor but I'll lay it out with ps first. That way I can go back and check what colors / gradients / dimensions I used to speed

I don't think this is a case of the internet changing brains, but more that our internet usage somewhat correlates with what our brain makeup is. Interesting, but I don't think surprising.
