Also don't try to go to a CC to save money first unless you know for a fact that you want to want to transfer to schools they articulate with. Many of the schools with the best CS programs take a ridiculously small percent of transfers. Are

Whatever you do go to a school where everybody is smarter than you. I turned down Georgia Tech for my local state school based on insane OOS tuition and wasn't challenged in the slightest. It was mind numbing.

How in the world did he get that domain name? I've had it on back order through snapnames, namejet and pool since before summer! The previous registrant was also unresponsive :P Did he shell out some big bucks for it? Anyway, despite my utt

I have to humbly disagree with this. People who don't know html and css graduate school out of the art department with Graphic Design. Go look up any decent college teaching web design - they put 2 years of emphasis on HTML & Css as w

I will never understand why some things are downvoted. Anyone with the power to do so knows that HTML is not a programming language and not indicative of hacker prowess.

I find myself saying this a lot and I mean no offense but HTML and CSS aren't code. If you can't build a binary search and sort then it doesn't count ;)

Oh, pfft. I looked him up and he doesn't even go to MIT. Anyone can cover the freely available material in a year if they did nothing else. However their level of retention would be ridiculously low. Testing would prove this but self study

Guy Kawasaki is also selling something. I'll be seeing him live next month. I'd pay even more to have 15 minutes with PG. (hell I'd even go see John Chow if it was free, lol)

I do have to give him one thing. When I was younger and more naive his polyphasic sleep experiment seemed pretty neat and his motivational articles really got me going. However once he started in with the nonsense I bailed out and started l

Some people don't like completing work for the week in 14 hours and having to be physically present yet doing nothing but reading on the web the other 26. Do more work? Nope, gotta wait for the clients, the devs, the managers, etc.

I honestly think that the bulk of this thread comes from confusing "own" with "pwn". (such in QuickPwn and Pwnage Tool) One means legal possession. The other means domination over something, eg., the locked out libraries cydia gives access
