Are these the kinds of issues privacy pass intends to fix? If so, what carrot and/or stick will get it adopted?

That would be doing something nice for the user at the expense of doing slightly less funneling traffic to their app store where they make their money on adtech and access fees. We wouldn't want to leave any money on the table in the p

Line of sight needed, trivial to jam, power hungry, trivial to fox hunt. These are not boogyman devices. The real boogyman devices are the ones in space. Big militaries don't need things on earth to do any of the things you listed a

What you're describing is a thing that is not obscured. Don't refer to things as obscured if they are not obscured. When others talk about about things that are obscured they are talking about things that are obscured, not thing

I think you're misinterpreting "obscurity" for "lack of obscurity". If you have a vulnerability in an API interface that is completely undocumented that is a vulnerability that is obscured. It's hiding in the

I have the service manual and can see there is only one telematics module in the car. It has two redundant LTE antennas and one GPS antenna going into the telematics module. The onstar calling works when the antennas are plugged in and do

I've reliably disconnected Toyotas and VWs by pulling the cell antenna connections from the telematics modules in the dash. The GPS antenna is separate and still aids in carplay navigation.

Slow is smooth. Smooth is fast. It pays off to have multiple experts really look at every part of a design and think through it before shipping. Don't treat anything as trivial.

I'm not an RF insider, but RFSoCs and deep budgets are a thing. I don't really see this as a constraint. If you are budget constrained then you just design your signal chain in discretes like everyone else.
