This is really cool. The other fruit fly project I was impressed by recently was Mihir Garimella's FlyBot: Mimicking Fruit Fly Response Patterns for Threat Evasion [1] which was a quadcopter that demonstrated evasive behavior. I really

How do you manage that? I basically said, if I realize I'm bored then I take it as an indicator that there's a deeper problem with me and I should get some sunshine or take a walk. For me, the root of boredom is avoidant behavior.

What differentiates those people from the success stories? Misdirected effort? Too much on the lone wolf side of things so they never get feedback (and thus misdirect their effort)? One of my great fears is putting in the study/time an

Any chance we could add a single character flag/prefix to titles on the front and search pages to indicate post titles which have been changed?

Not to feed the trolls, but I've been thinking a lot about my relationship with my smartphone and the societal expectations of availability lately. Phones are effectively tracking devices. Are you saying you don't carry a cellphon

You can also pick up a domain name and point it at your github repo. I've got wickerbox.net for $10 a year from Namecheap being served out of wicker/wicker.github.com. One of the neat features is that any time you do put in a gh

I completely agree with you on the merits of the program. Why don't more companies do it on the scale of GSOC? Organizing it must take multiple full-time people. It'd be great to see more programs where students get paid for their work but
