Markdown (subjectively) looks better than Org when it’s plaintext - postfix headers and dashed lists are annoying to parse but they distinguish sections visually. Org by comparison feels like a sea of asterisks. (I am tickled by the /i

> We're glorified construction workers that get paid a lot That attitude is my point. I'm a developer by trade; I have a different set of feelings and concerns about "the industry" and how new tooling will affect it.

It bothers me that so many programmers I know, here and in real life, seem to never actually have cared about the craft of software development? Just about solving problems. I like problem solving too. But I also like theory and craft, and

I do something like this. Every page gets an invisible link to a honeypot. Click the link, 48hr ban. Honestly I have no idea how well it works, my logs are still full of bots. *Slow* bots, though. As long as they’re not ddosing me I guess i

I just finished a little webtoy. It's like a comic strip time machine - you can see a virtual newspaper comics page for any date in the last seventy years. https://lmao.center/funnies V happy with how the CSS came out,

Are there any American fabs that are competitive with Chinese ones? AFAIK places like OSHpark are several times more expensive and just can’t do what the overseas fabs can (3.5mil t/s, filled vias, etc.)

I like wireless ISPs, because radio works everywhere, and I want my regular ISP to sweat a little. Doesn’t matter who ran what wires to where, all you need is a window I had Fios in Boston, in an apartment that was only wired for Fios. Desp

It’s a shame. Nordic’s chips blow the ESPs out of the water in terms of power consumption. You can get an nRF bluetooth dongle to run for months/years off a coin cell, almost without trying. Getting an ESP32 to behave is much harder II
