Labeling things with -Kit dates back to early NeXTSTEP (1989). I believe it was originally intended as an indicator that a library included an object-oriented API.

There is more than one plant with the common name "mother-in-law's tongue." I think OP might have been referring to Dieffenbachia sp. which is a tropical rainforest understory plant and does very well in the low light condi

This is good advice, but it's also sort of like taking painkillers when you have a broken leg: it helps with the symptoms but doesn't address the underlying problem. If you have mold growing on top of the soil, it almost always is

From a plants point of view, there really isn't anything wrong with fluorescent light, the issue is not enough light intensity. If you measure the photosynthetically active radiation in a normal office it's about 30-100 umol PPFD;

I am a scientist (a botanist) and I don't think the objection is short sighted. You are fundamentally changing the base of the marine food web. This is not a system that is well understood, and one that is difficult to model. This type

Meh. Mozilla has to do this because they have become fat and bloated thanks to Google money. They should go back to their roots and shrink back down to the scrappy little organization that depended on its users for donations and promotion.

California has a mediterranean climate. It is normal for most of the state to receive no significant rainfall May-October and for streams and rivers, especially in the coastal range, to run dry by late summer.
