Shouldn't be an issue since the page mentions connecting the TV (ie via cable) so nothing is meant to be transmitted in the air, rather just as an input to the TV. Same way as old NES consoles or C64 computers sent their signal to TV&#

Even without Kubernetes this kinda was indicative of the FreeBSD community missing the point, jails are neat but docker added a lot of ease of use above the how you basically managed jails manually (at least according to official instructio

I'm so much on the cliff on this, whilst they should focus it's becoming more painful by the year to run stuff on FreeBSD since there is so may Linux:isms in most opensource projects today that it's almost as hard to compile

The memory ownership kinda expects all structures to be in a DAG (ie no cycles since ownership tracking doesn't understand that).

Transactions are hard, and in reality there's a shit-ton of things people do that has no right to be close to a transaction (but still are), and transactions were a good imperative kludge at the time that has just warped into a monster

This has become a societal problem in Sweden during the past 20 or so years. 1: Healthcare efficiency is measured by "completed tasks" by primary care doctors, the apparatus is optimized for them handling simple cases and they thu

I don't think I ever built anything, just looked at some files in the SDK iirc. My colleague did mention something about having to use memory handles since the system could move around memory from under you?

I'm not gonna say it with 100% certainty, but having started using C# a few years ago i think that much of the smaller latency is simply because C# probably produces a magnitude less garbage than Java in practice (probably less than Go

I'd like to see a reference to some GC actually doing explicit optimizations of this kind in a multithreaded scenario (not just as an indirect effect of theuir regular scanning), more or less linear scanning of memory is a natural cons

Per-process GC is an optimization similar to nurseries in regular collectors, esp any object that has been sent in a message must be visible globally (yes there could be small object optimizations but that would increase sender complexity).

One huge benefit of keeping boxed objects on odd values on the low bits is that you can implement addition/subtraction of the integers without removing the flag bit, doing the operation and then re-adding it, instead you can just add 2

Not the same runtime, but iirc parsing, etc is done at an earlier stage in Hermes/RN so some parts of the initialization process is already done in that way if I'm not mistaken.

I've done 64kb intros since the 90s so I'm pretty familiar with sizecoding, my point was rather that non-generated audio is usually pretty much out of the picture whilst images in pixelart form is still feasible to a degree.
