After following Aaron's career for a decade, I just interacted with him directly for the first time four days ago, in what seems to have been his last day on Twitter. :`(

Love these! This is exactly what I find myself thinking every time I end up in a church listening to a sermon or a classroom listening to a professor. For me, the point of bringing people together is something like finding the serendipitous

Thanks npcomplete. With the current volume of growth I'm able to keep up with Gittip's fraud review dashboard pretty easily. As we scale let's start looking at more signals in an automated fashion.

The minimum got upped to $1/week: https://github.com/whit537/www.gittip.com/issues/180 The tip structure needs work. Hoping to revisit after landing international payouts and visual revamp.

Thanks, amfeng. Does the chargeback liability hit end merchants, or is that absorbed by Stripe? With Balanced, Gittip is responsible for it, and can choose whether to pass that along.

Good to have this on the table, thanks. This was in private beta when I was working with Stripe. The two limitations here for Gittip are: - Stripe Connect is not white label. All recipients (aka sellers, merchants) have to set up an account

I was wondering where you got that phrase. Too good to be true that you pulled it out of thin air on the spot. Sounds like Balanced should be a case study in your friends' book. ;)
