Seriously, consider that the PARC people were working on perceptrons decades before they became truly feasible. There is almost always prior art to build on. The most valuable engineering skill I find is the ability to say "I've r

Can't recommend it enough, I learned a lot from this tutorial. I hope to go back and add a lot more languages features.

Don't give up. I see FP growing every day. I saw a Haskell job listing yesterday for $180k/yrly. These skills are valuable and becoming more valued. I think the Xamarin purchase bodes well for F# which I have an intention of learn

America has a corruption problem. The ability for companies to vertically integrate and essentially make smaller businesses non-competitive can only occur when you don't have to pay the taxes your smaller competitors have to pay and do

No one has mentioned it thus far, but this could be huge for the Essential Phone, they are now on a real network.

The Remains of the Day seems thematically very similar to Tolstoy's The Death of Ivan Ilyich, yet I haven't from my brief googling seen any comparisons. Has anyone read both and can offer a comparison? I think I would like to read
