Same here. I have about half as many photos as you, but my iPhone is my only camera. It's very frustrating that my only option for photo management is to just remove old photos from my phone until I hit a sweet spot of maybe 500 or so. Is A

What about taking a break from your startup? I noticed back when I was working on mine that I got into the habit of working at my job all day, then working on the startup all night, and it was way more stressful than I realized.

If it's turned off, you can't use the software, right? If I had to do that every time I was pretty sure I wouldn't use it for a while, I'd probably find different software..

Mixed thoughts on this. I'm primarily a developer, and maybe once every couple of months I need to dive in to do some graphics work or pick apart a PSD from a designer I've worked with. I paid $700 for Photoshop CS3 on Windows back in 2007,

Is SF any better with regards to transportation? The T stopping at 12:30 is definitely an issue. Boston has always felt strange to me in that you can walk from Forest Hills to Alewife in an afternoon, but like you said, if you want a cab or

I'm in my mid-20s and moved to Boston about two years ago. It's a fantastic city, but it absolutely is difficult to maintain friendships, despite everyone being incredibly nice. There was a HackerNews meetup several months ago; Reddit has a

I run a small ad free site[1] that links to several job boards. Most of the boards really are low traffic if you live outside of SF or NYC. Have you tried contacting recruiters? [1] http://careers.sh

Encrypting would be pointless. Hashing would be possible, but then you break things like email notifications and password resets.

I've been using this with ChromePhp and it works fantastically well. It sends all of the data as part of the page's header, so you don't have to worry about something hacky like injected console.log calls.

I have a PHP SaaS app using Stripe and I need to develop an affiliate system for it. I'd be happy to collaborate.

I maintain a small ad-free directory of job boards[1], and you can also browse Reddit ForHire[2]. [1] http://careers.sh [2] http://reddit.com/r/forhire

If you want to turn this into a SaaS solution, I would be happy to donate the domain FizzBuzzAPI.com to your cause. I think the community would really benefit from being able to offload the overhead of solving FizzBuzz problems to an extern

Like sergiotapia, I'm very close to switching back to FireFox /because/ of the Awesomebar. However, for me, it's because it matches my search history better. Let's say I'm working on a page call /editor/?id=1234, in FireFox, typing 1234 wil

I assumed anxiety is the norm and not the exception? I'm sure you've heard the term "rubber duck debugging"[1] - maybe you need something like that for your business? Someone, or something, that lets you say "nope, this really won't make a

Well, I certainly agree that atleast prompting to update is worthwhile, but there are several steps afterwards -- the equivalent of installing a new application -- every time an update comes out.

The whole Catalyst driver update process is really shitty, anyway. Several steps for what should essentially be automatic.

To be fair, the Who's Hiring thread is an absolute pain to navigate after it gets paginated, so the chance of a job ad being seen in the middle of the month (by someone who's already seen the thread) is relatively low.

Is there really any value in a Netflix branded set-top? Every video game console plays Netflix, the new generation of consoles is coming out soon, and a bunch of TVs have Netflix baked in.

Have you looked at the WhoIsHiring[1] threads? If you use some Google-Fu, you can find some "Who is Hiring Interns" threads that are posted occasionally by various users. If you have any code you can show off, you should definitely throw it
