Not really new information, that has been known for a few days now actually -at least for myself it has.

Sure, but how much crypto currency are you going to get out of it from a pool? if you get 8.1 cents per hour, well that's not exactly that exciting. I've been a miner for years, and I'd recommend you take a look at your expec

I don't find her critiques convincing in all respects. A couple of her answers seem to be strawmen. For example: The passing mention of IQ is interesting, since it has nothing to do with gender, which is the focus everywhere else. He’s

>James Damore claims that Google does not discriminate against women. False. From the memo: I hope it’s clear that I'm not saying that diversity is bad, that Google or society is 100% fair, that we shouldn't try to correct for

This is not a comment on the article - but I really hate the words "ladysplain" and "mansplain". What a way to instantly inject emotion into what I would wish people would de-escalate. The original memo author committed

I've read that critique, but I've found numerous more critiques that have supported his position. Do I have a monopoly on saying what percentage support him - No, but it appears so far, and this may turn out to be wrong, that more

He concedes the very point you mention here. That there are _real_ historical biases that should be corrected and removed. From the memo: I hope it’s clear that I'm not saying that diversity is bad, that Google or society is 100% fair,

I'm not sure what your counter argument is exactly. He argued to change their diversity goals and implementation, with an intention to do a better job of getting a _more_ not less diverse company, including more woman and minorities. H

Arguing someone should be fired from their job for doing a bad job doesn't seem to be over-outrage... seems applicable. Maybe you disagree with his arguments, but seems normal to me.

There are plenty of reasons to discredit Stephen Miller on the things he says. That other people make fun of him for his looks is pretty boring and I'll leave them to their antics - hardly like this type of behavior doesn't happen

The memo appears to be based on actual real science that seems to be the consensus. However, the author appears to be completely tone deaf and extremely socially awkward - he has very poor communication skills. And lacking the understanding

You overgeneralize and mischaracterize the memo with your claims, which leads me to suspect you never read it. >Do you realize how subjective this is and how impossible it is to prove that today there are no other influences at play than

A year? the ROI for that would be like 5 years - you over-estimate the profits currently. It was profitable back in March far more than it is now - the gold rush with mining is over.

I've been in the crypto space since 2011 and I've seen these bubbles come and go. When people like yourself come into the game though (and this is not an insult) I'm pretty sure the speculative game is just about to end. I do

I watched this interview just a bit ago, and it gave me a better understanding of what James' was trying to articulate. After like 5 days of confusion about the memo, the outrage, and now the firing - I think I can come to a conclusion

Your volatility section seems to be a very poor indicator of a future crash in the manner you are using it. Volatility is not a predictor, but instead a descriptor. An analogy I think is the weather stick - Is this stick wet? Then it is rai

Your envelope is more inflated than bitcoin itself. I am a miner, and i was a miner back in 2011. One of my rigs right now uses 923W with 6 high end graphics cards. That rig costs me ~$3/day * 365 = $1095. Do you really think you can h

I'd say Bittrex is the most reputable out there.
