This argument is not one that union advocates would make. Indeed, the separation of blue collar and white collar work is a problem that gets in the way of goals of union advocates. There may not be guns pointed at programmers, but there are

Nuclear weapons can definitely be replicated. The U.S. and allies aggressively control the hard to get materials and actively sabotage programs that work on it. And the countries that want nukes have some anyway, even if they are not as goo

I have had a Volkswagen, it certainly didn't take a day at the dealer. And most of the wait time was other customers ahead of me.

We have AI that can and has produced new mathematics. I don't understand what you think AI is. Machine learning enables computers to make decisions about things without explicit programing, and it is done by learning from data. It is

The term you are looking for is AGI, never heard of "true ai". And if machine learning failed, why are we using so much it in everyday life?

If the ai can get hotdog wrong sometimes, shouldn't you be extremely concerned that the military is using to kill people and destroy things. I feel like "hospital or not" is a much more dangerous game.

Machine Learning is a type of ai. >If the military had said "statistical inference using modern Big Data methods" If this is what I saw the military use I would be upset at the blatant attempt at being misleading. In my mind I

Defeat yourself and you won't need time to do it for you. Maybe there is a hard limit, maybe you've hit a false peak, a local maxima. If you've hit a plateau, try something else, you probably only hit the limit of your curre

You don't really understand the ship of Theseus if you think that. Replacing with different things not just identical pieces is part of the question.

That's a strange question. Why is nudity something that an image generator shouldn't be able to create? Are genitals a fiction that should never ve present in human art?

The argument is that 1. Natural resources don't matter 2. Capitalism is the only way nations become properous. I feel like both are demonstrably false.

A model is by definition "a playground pretend version". We can't know the real physics, it is a philosophical question if they even exist, that doesn't mean you can't make an approximate version, ie simulation

With this explanation, you've inadvertently convinced me of the op. Being able to get to the "x = number" is the whole point of algebra. More often, students find the difficulty in trying to do arithmetic on things that can&#

The gas mileage isn't actually higher than a regular motorcycle (*well some yeah but not by much). It seems mostly useful as a demonstration of the tech.

This is before considering that the gas car is at least 10k cheaper and probably closer to 20 to 30k.

I mean it really depends. There are probably some circumstances where it's cheaper. But I think it's not a forgone conclusion. Renting costs money, and you'll need gas for it too. Motortrends estimates 1300 to 2000 a year in

Renting a car is expensive, especially when you have a car already. That you are paying full price for.

Do you not see the problem? "I paid for an electric car but i still have to add gas sometimes". "I paid for a combo but they didn't give me my fries". You paid extra for something they haven't provided

"IP" is a collection of various laws and contracts used to keep exclusivity, it doesn't exist on its own. No law mentions IP. I am not sure the case is a firm as you say it is. Especially since he didn't sign anything.

I think this kinda shows that you don't really understand the problem. If you had a human sitdown and review each image, there still would be images that get through. Even if you told him to err heavily on the false positive side.

I don't understand what this has to do with my comment. Also, ai art has gotten past uncanny valley in a lot of cases, that's why there is concern it's possible to confuse with real images.
