I do really wonder whether LLM's could be more humanlike with internal dialogue, a personality, and memory? This would mainly be better utilizing the LLM we have.

Indeed, and AFAIK there is normally little configuration beyond plugin installation. But please correct me if I am wrong.

I found it much easier to install a list of twenty plugins myself. The problem I had with these projects is that in order to use them, you first have to read the plugin documentation before understanding how to use it. I used these projects

APU with 24 or 32 GB would be really awesome, this would be perfect for a game console (new steam machine?). The extra memory is very useful as the GPU and CPU would be one. Similarly, the M1/M2 Mac mini could, hardware wise, also be a

For my university, not that long ago, it was possible to finish computer science, without touching a computer. Still in my time most exams were done on paper. Think of algorithms in pseudocode. But also a lot of logic like reasoning, with p

This seems very close to remixing or covering music, which already happens on a big scale, with royalties in place. If they can clearly recognize someone's voice/style, then they would want a piece of the pie. Outside the law, mus

Is it? I would rather say it is maybe too democratic. For an EU law to pass, both the EU parliament and EU council need to approve. So that means people vote for parties, that in turn are the EU parliament. Plus the EU council, which consis

The current YT title “Triple-Screen Laptop DONE RIGHT” is still defendable, as it means doing the whole concept of 'Triple-Screen Laptop' in a way it is useful. I think the biggest issue is the current title on Hacker News: “DIY t

It is a shame, they had a really promising car. Their design is based on a hyper efficient car, with a smaller, and thus cheaper battery. The solar panel is a small benefit, but would overall provide the car with more range per kg and $. Bu

The result of a Heroku build pack is also a Docker image. The switching of base layers is a feature of the docker image design, though not normally used by normal docker users.

I see OpenAI as a 'company' that (eventually) wants to earn money with their models. The 'open' part is trying to commercialize part it in such a way that everyone can use it. Also be open with the research and risks. Bu

Here in EU, day ahead prices that are available to me as consumer are now ranging from €0.18/kWh to €0.34/kWh in the same day (winter). So that is 16 cents per kWh diff to profit from. I guess there is some energy loss with chargi
