Kebebab can be had for 6-7 euros in baltics, depending where you buy. Can be less outside of major cities, usually that or more in cities/fancier places. You can also order online and pay silly prices, because the middleman charges a l

Yup, that commenter did exactly what he told others not to do, bashed on something without checking if he's right. Typical bashism. Typescript is from a single big vendor with all the tooling. React is a different story. By itself it&#

Unless you are a software developer, then 90% of apps isn't in SCCM crapware and you don't put repos/ssh keys and other stuff in onedrive/sharepoint, and then setup after reimage takes half a day.

Pretty sure they're just "sure" nothing bad will happen. I mean, if they're wrong what will happen to them? Nothing. Might as well say random bullshit.

Experienced same, it was faster to not multitask, do one thing a time. You would think launching 2 tasks would take 2x time with same resources, but it felt more like 3-4x. Disk was 1GB back then. I blame it on disk seek times and less adva

Competent doctor told to rest. Left knee MRT showed a "stress break" (don't know correct terminology in English). Problem is there has been no stress for last 6-7 months apart from time I was trying to start running (ironic).

A lot of people won't get your sarcasm, but I agree with this. Not that simple, life isn't fair, some people are more attractive/charismatic/interesting than others. Also, if you are geeky or considered weird by others,

The video does say that the random FIFO is more efficient than the boarding group thing, but you have to pay extra to get priority boarding, so airlines are incentivized to make the boarding annoying enough to make you pay for it.

People want native applications, but they will not want to pay for it. Cross platforms toolkits suck. There are frameworks for Android/IOS cross platform development like Xamarin and they suck, companies tend to move away from them aft

Small scale farms as tourist destination is a wet dream, and remote work is shrinking (personally affected by this). You can think of many utopistic ideas, but reality hits like a train.

Bitwarden is working on native mobile apps as Xamarin is a dead end technology, so the app will probably get support for passkeys and better mobile integration in the future.

Nobody wants to spend their time micromanaging their electricity usage to such a point. Such a scheme to all users will never pass. Lack of day-ahead means it's impossible to plan anything.
