OpenAI and Anthropic both are destined to doom for sure. There's no way around it and it is all in the math. Bun would be a causality. It is only a matter of time. Only company that would survive the AI race - the one where the current

I used ansible for building simple logging appliance (something like Elasticsearch + Dashboards + other tooling) and I found it very difficult to reason with specifically python code snippets within YAML. Switched to Pyinfra and the differe

Fair enough. But there's lot of faulty and wrong peer reviewed research as well. One such paper comes to mind which is probably cited some 7000+ times in other papers but itself is wrong.

I don't classify them as software experts either. Anyone doing so is probably not an expert themselves. I take them as those code generation command line tools like create react app and such.

The Guardian needs to raise their bar on what to report and how to give readers full context on the ongoing NFT AI trust me bro crypto scam and that context would be that it is a mathematical model of human language and not medical expert o

About 40% of stock market consists of about 7 or 8 companies. Those companies that are all into AI circular deals collectively trillions of dollars in valuations. Now imagine a company burning 200,000/month on AI spend. Real numbers. N

Absolutely true. LLMs need a really experienced engineer that has great intuition about the system design. Otherwise good luck getting things done in a business environment where people and processes depend on the software you produce. Thug

Basically - I anticipate a 3x rise in software engineering salaries in next five years if the dumb rhetoric of "oh coding is solved problem" rhetoric continued because of the collapse in supply side.

It's a beautiful device so much that hacker inside me wants to poke into what CPU they have and design a similar one in Verilog myself then put it on FPGA with similar display and it's driver then a 3D printed case and keys too.

Deepseek v4 Pro feels like Claude Opus 4.6 in it's personality but here's what I did find out about costs: I did cut loose Deepseek v4 on a decent sized Typescript codebase and asked it to only focus on a single endpoint and go in

I'm stepping away from LLMs in general and did cancel Claude code subscription this month because I respect myself very much and I deserve a better and transparent treatment. If you must - in my experience Deepseek v4 is incredible val

This is a solid release and first time, I feel like it is pretty good for the use case of decent sized Typescript mono repos. I can jump around codebase quicker. PS: Pretty daring move to think of building an editor when there's alread
