This thing isn't 500 billion dollars for sure. The blast radius of this bubble would be significant.

When they say "improved in XYZ", what does that mean? "Improved" on synthetic benchmarks is guaranteed to translate to the rest of the problem space? If not that, is there any guarantees of no regressions?

Jaw dropping. Because text rendering isn't easy even with regular programming SDKs etc. Anyone thinking otherwise hasn't attempted implementing it or haven't thought about it in depth.

What we also need is a simple API that given a dom element, takes a screenshot of the subtree. Nothing such is available.

Nah - renters didn't want them. Nobody wants a care for 48 hours on rent out of which at least 12 hours it has to worry about charging it. Superchargers aren't always available or in working condition even if are nearby. And EVs d

You can't charge them within five minutes like you would load up a traditional car. Battery starts to lose range. Even more so in extreme temperatures. Battery replacement is super expensive. In that amount you can get your engine rebu

You don't need to ask me, check what happened with car rental companies and EVs. It's all pretty evident.

EVs are scam of the century. They have diverted so much economic resources into an end product that isn't even reliable let alone having a long life. Yet to talk about the amount of mining, its carbon footprint and pretty much irrevers

To be fair - abuse is real. This also shows that "AI" is on "VC ventilators" of greed. Waiting for higher valuations till someone pulls the trigger for acquisition. IPOs I don't see to be successful because not ever

Unfortunately - its easier said then done. Specifically with offline first scenarios, you'll end up with lots of JS and client side shapes that need local persistence and sent back to server. So while view transitions should be first c

My experience with Gemini models is that in agent mode, they frequently will fail to apply the changes that they say it has made. Then you gave to tell it that you forgot to apply the changes and then it's going to apologize and apply.

My trick is - ask for a plan. Revise the plan. Then ask only to work on a single step of the plan making progress incremental then ask for tests for that step and keep hitch hiking in incremental steps.

We have seen those 10x engineers churning out PRs and huge PRs before anyone can fathom and make sense of the whole damn thing. Wondering what they would be producing with LLMs?

Zig seems to be simpler Rust and better Go. Off topic - One tool built on top of Zig that I really really admire is bun. I cannot tell how much simpler my life is after using bun. Similar things can be said for uv which is built in Rust.

> We also changed the codebase from Rust to Go because of the Buildkit libraries. Go is the best choice at the moment for such tools. These tools start a process, do lots of IO and exit. Very pragmatic choice.
