Seems like the API is less reliable than GPT-4 so far, but I guess it makes sense for the endpoint to be popular at launch!

No catch. We're pretty early tbh so mostly looking to get some early power users and make the product great before doing a big launch. It's been popular with yc founders in the latest batches thus far but we haven't really sh

Just added Claude 3 to Chat at https://double.bot if anyone wants to try it for coding. Free for now and will push Claude 3 for autocomplete later this afternoon. From my early tests this seems like the first API alternative to

Surprised no one has mentioned hex yet. There was a post on the yc internal forum today about data stacks and a lot of founders mentioned they liked hex. I hadn't heard too much about them before but they looked interesting for someone

I tested a bunch of models while building https://double.bot but ended up back on gpt4. Other models are fun to play with but it gets frustrating even if they miss 1/100 questions that gpt4 gets. I find that right now I get

They are not 1:1 parity with the hosted version, they are hard to run, and they are slow. When I tried GA I often had to just test on the hosted service, and debugging on the hosted service is so slow and painful. I honestly am very surpris

The workflow UI looks really good. Nice work! Was that totaly built in house or is it based on a library?

They transitioned to a more traditional b2b virtual assistant model. We used them at my previous startup to do a lot of data entry work and spreadsheet clean up. They weren't great for EA-like tasks that require more nuance. athenago.c
