Sure I was just thinking for most people. I just got a ZMK keyboard and I'm I've been practicing Coleman and qwerty. After less than an hour on Coleman, I was struggling on qwerty and had to wait for qwerty to switch back on my br

The bigger point is that they took away the agency of some doctors. The vaccine and ivermectin both didn't have enough time for testing for safety and efficacy. “It is hard to imagine a more stupid or more dangerous way of making decis

If you're goal is ergonomics, the physical layout will get you 90% of the benefits. Ditching qwerty might get you that 10% but at a higher cost since almost all computing is built around qwerty.

Just got myself a Glove80 with the linear Choc Pro Red switchtes (35gf). Glad I held off on other keyboards for this. It's so satisfying to type on. It's only been more than a couple of days and I already got the hand of it for th

Ivermectin had every institutional accolade that a drug could have but because authorities wanted to take power away from doctors (took away their agency) to offer off-label use they had to "nerf" it to the point of horse paste. D

They can create a whole new narrative around anything and you reward people with some power that would subscribe to that new story.

It's not impossible. The pandemic showed that you don't need a Hitler or Stalin figure to be ruled with an iron fist. The oligarchy could just make the pro encryption people the new ivermectin.

Best mode is where decision makers are given power without any accountability. We just finished "The Legend of Gain of Function" and we were all surprised to not finish the game.

That's why for me it's not easy to forgive the people who were so righteous during the pandemic that ultimately got things wrong. They would've been happy to see people locked away for dissenting.

Wouldn't it be better to hire a mixture of specialists and generalists especially today when diversity should be focused in thought rather than looks. Someone not me said that specialists are a master of one and connector of none.

I can already touch type and I think a split keyboard will be a lot more beneficial for ergonomics than learning qwerty alternatives. What's it like to be able to type in Dvorak or Coleman or any other layout? Is it like being bilingua

I beg to differ. I have two LG V20s and I've tried multiple batteries over the years and they all worked fine. The battery by third party vendors actually got better over time. OEM had 3200mah while you can get a 4200mah since 2020.

I think the overarching concern is giving tech giant like Microsoft a hand when it's already entrenched in consumer, enterprise and government markets. We don't need to inflate an already bighead corporate oligarch.
