I always prefer those wired optical mice. They light and very responsive. I never liked those wireless ones. SO heavy :-(

I do my designs at 1000 pixels too. The horizontal scrollbars at 1000px should disappear. So in short I design based on 1024 but the max width I work on Photoshop is 1000px. Even on fluid designs, I do this.

37signals is not a "graphics" or "design" company. I wonder why they post these kinds of articles. They can basically outsource a bunch of icons and logos then start building from there.

I rented a cheap room. Got an internet connection and then invited my friends over. We hack a few hours every night after work. We each have our own projects (outsourced ones or pet projects). The good thing about this is that we never get

I emailed Morph Exchange. They have plans to do PHP but they do not have a timeframe for it yet. For Java however, they it should be done within this year.

Good design and good user-interface. Nothing is more annoying than sites with awesome design but bad UI...

Bottom line is: PHP can get the job done (cheap and fast) and scales pretty well. I have been using Zend Framework for almost a year now - with the release of 1.5, I recommend it above anything else (other PHP MVC Framework).

I would recommend Zend Framework. I have had issues with Code Igniter. All the workarounds and unexpected stuff frustrated me - I think not only me but other users as well - that is why I think there is a fork: http://kohanaphp.org ... By
