Having a blog myself, I don't post for months, but then all of a sudden I have an idea and I push out a couple of thousand words within a few hours with a 100 likes. Sometimes muse hits you and it just flows, sometimes it's on holidays for

Hey, these guys can help you :) http://www.startupsanonymo.us/ Had a chat to them, they've talked with several hundred startup founders now I assume. Great stuff, someone fund this please btw? :)

Great article, though this strategy (as well as AL) is not of much use for first-time & pre-traction entrepreneurs.

Ask your employer if you can take out 4h/week during the day to visit the gym. Quite unlikely that your employer will say no and then you can go to the gym 2 times a week. Done. :) As for dating, I'd squeeze that in by leaving at 8pm instea

Without money or credibility it's quite likely that you'll find yourself still doing the startup grind in two years, without having raised money or not even having a company with paying companies. During these two years you'll also find you

No but seriously if this goes viral, they could lose several million users. At an LTV of $75/user right now that can be between $100m-$200M. Better buy these guys for $50M. :)

I never thought I could be depressed in any way, but I came to see that hole you were talking about a bit. I think the problem is that when being in depression, one is too much in your head and similar to startups if one can't bounce off th

I'd rather say experience in corporate correlates negative with the ability to innovate. Who do you think is gonna create the next billion dollar company, someone with 20y experience in IT or an crazy student who thinks he can take over the

Yes, I think the percentage of under 30y old entrepreneurs outweighs who do highly scalable startups outweighs the over 30y olds by far. A billion dollar company after 10y of being in business is not impressive. If you have some money to st

well there's 50,000 startups on Angellist right now. Approx. 5,000 of them are funded so that their founders are millionaires. Here's your answer ;) And if your startup is not on Angellist, you haven't tried really.

Why not, I'd even up this number to 8 startups in 4 years. Plus, the chance as a first time entrepreneur to have a successful(IPO/exit) startup are 12%: http://fundersandfounders.com/will-i-succeed-with-my-startup...

Yeah easy to comprehend in hindsight, obviously. Sorry didn't want to hate against PhD students, but I don't like the institution of a PhD. Most PhD thesises I have seen are just a waste of time of the PhD students. Less in science PhDs, mo

Hm very interesting, but how so? The average person probably doesn't use their car because it's at the airport for 200h/year, but doesn't use their car for 8000h/year in total, where it could be used by someone else. It's probably easier if

As far as I can see, the potential is not so much about the airport rental stuff, because that market is "quite" small, but a very strong use case to launch out of and to get momentum to become the AirBnb for cars and to surpass getaround,
