Wtf is pathetic about that. Try out 1000 of things, do a pivot, pitch investors here and there, apply YC every now and then. Nothing pathetic about that.

Linkedin is a horrible, horrible company and very harmful to the startup culture and ecosystem. I don't understand why Reid Hoffman, who I think is a great Angel investor is doing that to the startup community.

Normally, I find Sam's articles maybe interesting, but not that insightful. However, this one is really awesome, it pins down the dynamics happening in fundraising exactly. It actually feels a bit Paul Graham like, very good article. E

It's pretty much fear in my opinion. The main platform Facebook is already not cool anymore, so they have to buy cool things to stay cool. Only problem is, if you're not cool and you acquire cool things, these things automatically

The untraceableblog.com below is a great resource. However, in the end, there is always text analysis though that can give your identity away, which the untraceable blog does not address. That's why you possibly need a ghost writer tha

Mhmmm, but you can't really call that an idea anymore. Then you could also count Einstein's theory of relativity as an idea, since with these two the execution is basically proving things mathematically, no? An idea as it is debat

There is some truth to it, because there are a thousand ways to implement the idea you had, however only five of these ways will make the idea take off. That's why an idea without knowing exactly how to get 10,000 users without any fun

My armchair attempt would say that a star/moon would only NOT spin if at their creation, the clouds of material came 100% from all sides equally. Normally though, stars or planets are caught from clouds catching and revolving around ea

I think it's about what the 60h is for. As a salary man, completely agree, what are you working for? So that you make $180,000/year in 5 years instead of $100,000? Not worth it. But 60h/week for your own startup? Gosh, when I

But have you never tried to start your own company as creating wealth by working for someone else just doesn't work? Looking at the failure rate of startups of 82% as a first timer, by starting your own company you have just 40-folded

I think the problem of a shared state is that you're starting the new life with many preassumptions, which is not good. To get the most learnings, you need to be completely open, unbiased.

No, for each new startup, there are two more startups that can be built on top of it. The funny thing is that rhere are not fewer ideas down the road, idea generation is exponential.
