I think we're vastly different. When in school in France, nobody will ever ask you if you want to start a business, and entrepreneurs are depicted as vilains. Your family will consider you've chosen the dark side of the force and

France is definitely a counter example in my opinion: one of the strongest welfare in the world is producing more unemployment than anything, and certainly not entrepreneurs.

I thought electric bicycles were limited to 250W by a (stupid) european law... or maybe you need a driving licence, licence plates and insurance for these?

You must have goals, but "I'm 40 and I've achieved all I wanted for my life" is the least desirable outcome of your life. Because life doesn't end at 40, and you'll feel a deep void... Stay in motion, don'

If this guy hadn't thought he was lucky, he would have resigned from Disney early. So maybe Luck is a belief... and belief is what decisions are made of, good and bad.

I find Mongodb works well (OLTP) when you use it as a powerful Key-Value store with secondary indices. You'll get easy replication/failover (rolling updates of the DB server are easy), ease of use (with node.js for example) and ve

I'd choose node.js for the API. Using the same language on both the server and client can be a big plus. It makes context switching much easier for devs... Then choose between Javascript, Coffeescript or Typescript.

I'm not sure the image paradigm would be much of a problem today. Virtualization is common today, Docker is very trendy, and many such tools rely on the concept of images. Smalltalk images are similar to VM snapshots, and not very diff

It's mostly a matter of lobbying... Public safety, assurance, etc... if it were the problem, they'd ask drivers to show their assurance card to customers, and warn customers. But if they only want to ban Uber so satisfy taxi drive

The best example of bureaucratic nonsense ever... Is it supposed to benefit someone ? no. Is it supposed to be a pita of everyone ? yes. Let's do it!

I also lived in Switzerland (5 years), where bureaucracy is definitely less of a problem than in France: it just works (the first time, not after weeks and 2 attempts). When I hear "France has great tax credits systems for startups&quo

A migrainous infarct is a rare complication of migraines with aura, and you should probably not worry too much about it. But make sure you'll NEVER take vasoconstrictors during the aura... Migraines with aura have two phases : - first

I'm so glad I was downvoted (twice) for making the most positive comment I could on a library I don't need. It clearly shows how silly downvoting is. Yet your documentation rocks. And I thought it had to be said.
