I'm 45, no kids, by choice. It's not because of my career, it's just because of the life I choose to live. I would simply not live a single day of my life the same if I had children. I do live every single day of my life as I

Please do the math... Before this document reaches 16MB, you're bigger bigger than Amazon. If this solution scales up to Amazon scale, that's good enough for me.

"No reason to use MongoDB in 2017" I would reply: replica sets and sharding and multi-threaded architecture and the absence of impedance mismatch, all in a single product that was designed for these features.

Regarding "SQL is better suited to this use case because it has transactions" comments: Before we had 3-tier architectures, people would have designed a shopping cart use-case as a single SQL transaction that would last maybe 10 m

Thanks again :) I have no set plan yet (the site is 1yr old)... SSLPing monitors almost 6000 servers daily, 250+ users... so maybe I'll follow your advice with some kind of support plan (I was thinking of donations)

With keep-alive you may not even need TLS session tickets (if the keep alive timeout is long enough). keep-alive keeps the HTTP/TLS socket open. TLS session tickets allow to close and "cheaply" reopen TLS session on a new soc

Can I ask you where you've read/heard about the imposter syndrome first? Also, I don't pretend we don't suffer the same symptoms, just that without a name to put on it, it's more bearable. Personally, I have a very

I've only heard recently about the imposter syndrome, and I feel bad for people who are feeling it. Note that I'm french, 45, and I think it's a very english or even american thing. Maybe the imposter syndrome is when you won

You're trying to tell us the judgement follows the law. We're saying the judgement lacks discernment and does more harm than good. I feel the prejudice suffered by everyone far outweights the justice brought by this case.
