Honestly - is it? Maybe the reasons I practice fighting games all day is because I desperately need a new toaster.

I purchased a 360 a few days ago so that I could play Street Fighter 3: Third Strike with my friends from back home. It's a fine console, but I was worried about the prospects of Microsoft shutting down Xbox Live at some point.

Also, the ability to add template specifiers to implementations is probably the most powerful restricted generic programming technique I've seen. For example, it fills me with joy to be able write lines like this: // Co

No, it is not. Pure virtual classes are the same as interfaces. But I only use pure virtual functions, so why mix in non-pure virtual classes?

I've been using Rust more and more for my personal projects. Frankly, I could not give a hoot about the memory management; it's pretty cumbersome to deal with. What I love about Rust is that it's a low overhead language that

Here's an interesting thought -- suppose the algorithm used to simulate our universe is not bound by the resources in the universe. Let's also say that our simulation results in the people in our simulation simulating our universe

A lot of people seem to appreciate Kamen for FRC so I would like to offer my alternative experience: I enjoyed the comradery that came with my high school robotics club, but man I did I absolutely hate the actual competitions. Firstly, bein

Victim blaming does not apply here. You're using software written by other people - you dont get to decide what it does insofar as to actually modify the source code yourself.

True, a lot of my friend have vinyl now. It's fun to listen to, generally more social. You can make a thing out of listening to vinyl much more easily than you can by playing music off your laptop speakers.
