We should rewrite all Rust code in Python. Not for any technical reason. I'm just sick of the Rust cult at this point.

Those are probably 50-60 hz flickering from the mains frequency rather than PWM. (Or 100-120 hz due to the rectifier). Actual PWM ICs drive LEDs over 10,000 hz, which is truly imperceptible to the human eye.

DuckDB is a OLAP database. Its optimized for batch analytics, not for individual transactions. Its great for data science work, but I wouldn't use it for a production system.

There's no need to build them in Dallas. Just keep them near the shoreline. The only reason you have so many data centers in North Jersey is so high frequency traders can make their calls 0.02ms before their competitors on the NYSE. Fo

Completely serious. Sea water cooling for data centers is already in use here in Helsinki. And water temperature in the Gulf of America doesn't seem to go above 30 C even in the summer. https://news.ftcpublications.com/

That's not really a claude-ism. Its an important requirement for a many asynchronous tasks.

I remember I left around that time too because they started aggressively trying to defeat adbockers. I'd rather just leave the platform completely than see a single ad.

Just add a Z at the end. For example 19:18Z. Its standard in military time and ISO 8601.

It is definitely a social game. You're not going to have a good time if you try to play it solo. At least that was the case when I played it 10+ years ago. No clue if they changed it significantly since then.

For logistics reasons, a lot of companies operate a EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) division. That probably applies to one of their suppliers.

Prime 4 was a fine game, except for the MacKenzie character who would never shut the hell up. It was like having a redditor in your ear for 10 hours. Absolutely insufferable. If they would have just removed him and worked on the desert hub

It sounds like you're describing a 2-stroke engine, which older Vespas did use. But modern ones use a 4-stroke engine and should have the same emissions profile as any other motorcycle.
