Honestly: What are you scared of? What is it about this technology that isn't already done bigger / better / faster / more by TV and video games, or by alternate technology like LiDAR or even a Kinect?

2018071392 has the claims on page 23 of 33. They specify: A DNN trained on simulated input Controlling a "robot" based on actual input That's pretty obviously a "devil".

VERY complex systems and concepts can be explained to anyone via analogies to things they already understand. Bang-bang logic is easy to explain and understand. PID is hard, but you can equate it to something like balancing on one foot and

JS is no different from HTML in this regard. HTML has (at least) several variants of 4.x, quirks mode, HTML5, new features, deprecated features, etc. which all demand separate rendering engines. At some point, the browser stops supporting t

When is ECMA/JS going to be versioned in <script> tags so we can avoid this the next time around? Catering to an implementation that does bad things is an awful way to build standards, but it's only going to happen again and

I thought HPKP was essentially deprecated - too many footgun scenarios and not enough specificity on "what to pin" since CAs can use / issue with multiple intermediates.

This feels spot on. Having been on both sides of the table, I understand why these are true, but still don't like a lot of these interactions. The worst one is ghosting, there's no reason for an interviewer to leave you hanging, a

If your DNS host supports it (Route53 does), you can set a wildcard CAA record with no valid issuers that will do what you want. Bare -> LE delegation WWW -> explicit LE delegation * -> no delegations, and will override "bare&

CAA wouldn't help in most cases! If you have an IP based delegation (A or AAAA record) you're probably okay, but if you have CNAME delegation you're beholden to the named entity. I've commented on this before on HN when

I'm only suggesting that mirrors work both ways. If you stand 1m away from a mirror, you will see "yourself" 2m away as a reflection. (1m you:mirror + 1m mirror:reflection) If you move 1m backward, you will see the reflection

Have you tried termination at ELB with TCP to backend, or just plain TCP passthrough all the way? Also as mentioned elsewhere, ALB or NLB might do what you want, either working the same way as regular ELB or via the same workarounds.

It would only apply to a mirror that's offset to point your LiDAR to the sky or at some odd angle. If it's a flat mirror, it will just see itself approaching from 2x the distance / speed between the car and mirror.
