I suppose I don’t have enough experience because I stick to the latest LTS. I agree that the Linux desktop has its shortcomings, but I still feel that it would be a great option for plenty of people who default to windows today. Especially

It’s quite flippant of you to assert that people who are interpreting a set of facts contrary to your own interpretation, are doing so because they were “told” to by CNN. There’s plenty of evidence out there for people to make the case that

If violently installing someone to power who wasn’t legitimately elected isn’t overthrowing the government in your mind, I have to wonder what qualifies. The entire premise of the rally was “stop the steal”. Clearly they weren’t all extreme

A question to ask is whether bezos could have started Amazon if, instead of being a wealthy US citizen, he were a poor non English speaking citizen of say, Madagascar, back in the 90s. He almost surely wouldn’t have. All that is to say that

Much of the EU has similarly high tax rates on capital. I haven’t found figures on China, but I have a hard time believing their growth is simply a matter of tax policy. Arguing about taxes is a race to the bottom in any case. What matters
