Yeah, I've been aware of a lot of these limitations for quite a while. The new Package Control site solves these problems, plus a whole lot more. I'm very excited about the launch - with any luck I should have something to show of

Just a heads up for anyone interested. I've been working on a very significant revamp of the Package Control site that coincides with all of my work on Package Control 2.0. I've been pushing hard the past couple of weeks, with a h

It is true how your choices in life make for distinct personalities. I'm not even 30 yet and have a seven year-old. I can't imagine waiting until 40 before having kids. It really depends on what you define "good" as. It

Yeah, I just didn't want to acquire all of the technical debt of starting a new project in 2.7 when 3 has been out for 5 years now and 2 is effectively in support mode. All new standard library enhancements will be in 3 and I can't imagine

I'm curious, and not just from the author, but why Flask and not something like Bottle? After recently starting a Python 3 web project I was disappointed to see that Flask and many of its main dependencies don't run on Python 3. Don't get m

Hopefully in about a week or so Package Control 2 should be going beta. It includes a bunch of features to make publishing packages easier, proper ST3/2 support, better proxy handling on Windows and a new snazzy website to improve package d

I've used an Aeron and tried various other high-tech chairs and had similar results. I tend to have the best posture and feel most comfortable when in a hard chair, ideally with four legs I can prop my legs against. The rest of the time I s

We've been using Rollbar for a number of apps over the past few months and have really been liking how it fit into our infrastructure. Brian has been great about responding to bugs and suggestions. Keep up the great work!

The big changes in ST3 aren't primarily user facing. Yes, there are some useful new features, but the reason that this is ST3 versus ST2.1 is because of the API changes. Sublime Text X, which became ST2, started almost 3 years ago. Back the

Old versions of Subversion required you to remember the revision, but since 2009 and version 1.6, that is no longer the case. A modern SVN workflow can easily look like this: svn co https://svn.example.com/myproject/trunk . svn copy .
