Yeah. DPI story on Linux desktops are not very good. A few of them handles 200% scaling pretty well, but with something like 150% scaling, it fails pretty terribly. I had some success modifying things like border width, font sizes manually.

BTW it's super unlikely Skype would cause a BSOD. BSOD is akin to a kernel panic. Most likely you have a hardware issue.

That's hard to believe. Can you give us an example? Also mouseleave is an event IE invented and is non standard. How would it not work on IE?

I see many comments about Han unification being a bad idea but I am not seeing any reason why it was such a bad idea. I am from a CJK country and I find it makes a lot of sense. Most commonly used characters should be considered identical r

I thought this was something implemented using metaclasses to not have to use dictionary-style field access... (e.g., obj.field instead of obj['field'] )

You can still have fragmentation problem with ext or ZFS if your file system is near full. This always has been a problem. The problem with FAT was that the fragmentation problem occured earlier than other systems.

I think this could happen if you do not use 'compare-and-swap' and simply update account set balance=balance-9 twice at the same time when the account balance is 10. The account balance won't go below zero but you ended up wi

I like this a lot. I actually used this at work. With a simple function to translate JSON into DOM incrementally, it's a lot more succinct than JSX. And it's fully programmable in JS.
