(Not OP) Scaleway is quite better at UI and has excellent support in my experience. OVH is a bit rougher but offers more solutions IMO, and has DCs in America (Scaleway is purely European).

That's not how it works. As Google is the default search engine for most browsers (Safari, Firefox), as soon as you hit Google it begs you to use Chrome instead of whatever you're using right now. You don't have to search for

I had a Canon about 20 years ago. Getting it to work with Linux was incredibly difficult and finicky, and required some piece of proprietary software at some point. So my gut feeling about Canon is "never again", though the situat

I've very deliberately NOT updated the firmware of my Brother printer, ever. I mean, it works just fine (but complains that there's some updates available). What could an update add? Probably nothing. What could it break ? A whole

I've only ever bought DRM-less epub (mostly books from John Scalzi and a couple of other authors). I won't pirate, because I refuse any DRM-laden shite as a question of principle.

This applies to adults, too. When you're really poor, it's actually a reasonable strategy NOT to keep money but spend everything as soon as you hit pay day, for instance on storable food. Why's that ? Because money on your ba

This problem isn't limited to hardware engineers, nor to UK. All across Europe, a massive brain drain is occurring, and the way it's going we'll become developing countries in a couple of decades at most.

My most important routine daily activity is 30-45 minutes of callisthenics (abs, push-ups, etc), then going running in the wood for 30 to 45 minutes. 15-20 years ago I used to do that between 7 and 9 (bringing children to school in the midd

Yes, and that's why the month of Ramadan in the Muslim calendar shifts by about two weeks every year, because it's a lunar calendar. But this doesn't apply here.
