While the 95% figure is possibly correct when considering all games since the beginning of Windows, the remaining 5% includes most modern multiplayer games.

Haven't used Cloudflare in a while, but in the past you needed $200/month Business plan to be able to use subdomains of an existing domain with DNS hosted elsewhere.

Rosetta Linux executable can be used without host hardware/software support; for example, you can run it on AWS's Graviton instances. However, to get performance benefits, you still need to have hardware support, and have Rosetta

The main problem is not native software, but virtualization, since ARM64 hardware is still quite uncommon for Windows/Linux, and we need Rosetta for decent performance when running AMD64 in virtual machines.

But Docker images don't necessarily have ARM64 support. If you are exclusively targeting x64 servers, it rarely makes sense to support both ARM64 and AMD64 platforms for development environment/tests, especially if the product&#x

You can also use an alphanumeric passcode, in which case you need the full keyboard. Maybe they just unified this, so that it always displays the keyboard instead of switching between keyboard and PIN input?

Why so? Months in written form also start with 1, same as days/years, so it would make sense to match all of them. For example, the first day of the first month of the first year is 1.1.1 AD (at least for Gregorian calendar), so we cou

I encountered something similar. I have `*.domain.tld` pointed to an internal IP address, and over the past few years it happened a few times where some subdomain would be flagged as dangerous by Google Safe Browsing.

Why would we want to limit ourselves to PWAs? Being able to run arbitrary executable file has been the core feature of general-purpose computers since the beginning. I'd consider smart phones as being general-purposes, same as laptops&

You can bring your own Woodpecker CI or Forgejo Actions runners. The cheapest solution is to just run them at home in a VM. Codeberg is a community driven project, which provides CI for FOSS projects, and it's a bit unfair to expect th

Same applies for clouds, each is a completely different beast. You have AWS EC2, GCE, Azure VM, and others. The main difference between cloud vs on-prem/colo/dedicated is that you need SRE/DevOps for the first, and sysadmins

Using a hypervisor means just running a Linux VM, like WSL2 does on Windows. There is nothing native about it. Native Linux (and Docker) support would be something like WSL1, where Windows kernel implemented Linux syscalls.

It's also worth mentioning the extensive standard library and golang.org/x/, which means that you generally don't even need that many 3rd party packages.
