You asked: > Is it unethical for me to sell my Condo which is in “up and coming area” which never upped and never came and has a very high crime rate (with/without disclaimer)? That would be lying in order to sell something, and thu

Same package, but separate die. It’s still competing with all the other RAM buyers.

> “up and coming area” which never upped and never came Is this so difficult that you can't even detect your own lie specifically constructed as an example of it?

What is there to discuss? If you have the ability to move away, then you move away, done. We aren't discussing this particular group because we're a too emotional to think straight. We're discussing this group because it'

It’s not about being unable to view the issue except from that one perspective. It’s about having an aversion to mass suffering, and recognizing that this group will be subject to it. You’re basically saying, why are you so worried about al

If you’re genuinely poor then moving is cheap when viewed by someone who isn’t poor. Moving as a renter isn’t free. You’ll need to come up with a security deposit and coming up with two months of rent at once is not easy. Your slumlord land

Is it unethical to lie in order to sell something? Yes, yes it is. This sort of puffery is relatively minor and is thus not tremendously unethical, but it is unethical.

The industry is extremely safe. Neither of the two recent fatal accidents involved safety lapses by the airlines and air travel is so safe as to be difficult to measure. I don’t understand how higher profits would translate to a less misera

I'm pretty sure macOS is more like iOS in this respect. At the very least, the passwords are typically secured biometrically and only the one being used is actually decrypted at the time of use.

There's little hope of protecting against a snooper seeing the passwords you actually use, since they have to exist in plaintext at some point. But there's no reason to expose the entire password database when no passwords are ev

Are you suggesting there's some shadowy cabal responsible for getting women the right to vote?

It's possible. Ultimately the voters do make the decision, even if they can be swayed. How realistic it might be, I can't say. We certainly need a lot more engagement with the process. There are far too many people ignoring the pr

You're talking about a man who did a Simpsons intro that depicted the Simpsons behind the scenes as involving child labor, kittens thrown into a woodchipper, an enslaved panda, and various other atrocities, all in a dark compound with

I definitely see why effort is being put into this. But it seems inherently limiting. It's like having someone sit down in a library each day with a notebook containing all their prior work, none of which they can actually remember. At

Or maybe a new competitor doesn't enter the market, and we're stuck with a mere four major, three mid-sized, and some smaller airlines in the US. It's still a highly competitive market even with Spirit gone.

Every 5 years is ridiculous. The difference between 80 and 85 can be stark. I have to get refresher training every two years to legally fly a small plane and that’s something where it takes some serious work to kill anyone who isn’t me or m
