Notion's tables are ironically too complex to use but not powerful enough to provide good functionality. It would have been better if they just had a a simple table like in Word. It's like they tried to jam airtable into their pro

I think it's common, but not really a lack of trust thing -- instead the code is a work product unless what you are paying for is a functioning application + hosting + support. If stuff is breaking then it means you have a more serious

10-15 minutes is a long time to wait for results, especially when you're asking for feedback. The freeform text box isn't helpful because it lists a bunch of things I should tell it but not _how_ I should tell it. You can fix both

I don't think there is a way to change the database without slowing down development. After all, the data is the most valuable thing you have. Besides that, I tend to follow the same general principals RainforestHQ presented in 2014 h

I'm literally doing this right now. There are multiple bugs with the implementation, poor quality overall, but all my manager sees is the dollar signs. Somehow, they forgot it's already 2x overdue, still not feature complete, and

I didn't know about the EoL for Chromebooks. I have one on the list that will reach it next year. Yes, I've had it for ~5 years, but I didn't expect it to just stop receiving updates after a certain period of time. Especially

I believe a probationary period is fairly standard in the U.S., even if the candidate doesn't know it. Generally it's a 30/60/90 day plan, feedback from managers, etc. If they don't live up then you start reevaluati

If your goal is to move into leadership at the executive level it probably doesn't matter. What matters more is developing your leadership skills, rapid advancement from IC to management and networking.

I work at a small company and have about a dozen engineers under me. When I approach these problems I do this: Identify where your want to be when you retire. This could range from anywhere between CEO to a fortune 50 company to an individu

This isn't an engineering failure, but a failure of management. Non-technical management has no clue how expensive it is to properly maintain a system and design it for security when all they can see is an output of a widget. In almost

Note that it requires more then just creating an LLC if you're really trying to do it for protection. The LLC really needs to have its own finances, equipment, etc, or a lawyer can "pierce" it in court.

There are a few ways you can tackle this issue: 1) have the same algorithm for each group, but train separately (so in the end you have two different weights); 2) over-sample the group under represented in the data; 3) make the penalty more
