If given a choice, I prefer to work on one thing to the exclusion of all other things. It takes me a day or two to really get into a project. Once I'm there, I find that I naturally cycle my focus between projects every three to four weeks

Why would debuggers or unit testing be an exclusive choice? I see unit tests as a way to work in the existing code without breaking it, and a debugger as a way to figure out what's happening when you've broken something.

I was thinking a lot like this, but recently I've changed my opinion. Just to contradict your 'only web devs like it', I'll mention that most of my work is done in Obj-C and Cocoa. Web apps have some inherent advantages. Being 'installed'

Why a Keynote clone? The implementation is beautiful, but I don't see why you'd choose an app that relies on full screen mode and control via remotes.

I found that section confusing too. I think it's just the result of a bit of bad writing though. After rereading it, I'd guess they had subjects list books or commandments and then take the addition test.
