The Print Shop was pure awesomeness. Drove my parents crazy when I needed yet another pack of endless paper after printing a couple of banners on my C-64. With all those low res graphics, you could have awesome state of the art results even

Thanks for the additional article. Still seems confusing to me. I would not intuitively expect a treatment of pancreatic islets to also solve insulin resistance. More intuitive, with all I know about Diabetes 2 would be that it resets the i

Was astonished that this is supposed to refer to type 2 diabetes (would expect "cell therapies" more fitting for type 1), but it seems you are right: https://www.scmp.com/news/china/science/article&#

I founded a social network website in the late 90ies which was mainly successful in Germany (till Facebook showed up to the party and steamrolled all other sites) but still lives on, albeit tiny nowadays. My now wife was a friend of my ex o

Product looks very very great, based on browsing the docs. Pricing is unfortunately very opaque, at least if you have not signed up yet, naming some kind of starting price "depending on instance size" and I have no clue depending

No, you can't. The exponent in a float16 is too small. You'd rather convert back to a 32-bit float, do your operations, and then throw away the surplus precision and convert back to bfloat16.

You don't scroll through such a list - you use filters, pivoting etc. For end users, it's often quite comfortable to unify this in an Excel-like interface, as they're used to it. In most CRUD projects I had, users had an aver

I know it's an unpopular opinion, but for me, FFX has the best and deepest story of all FFs I played (which are 7, 8, a bit of 9, 10, 12), closely followed by 8. 7 and 8 suffer from too much arbitrariness for me, 10 is just the right k
