Apple MFi certified lightning to HDMI adapters exist, so I can definitely see USB-C to HDMI be an issue on phones for those that need it.

If you're sending the email address to a server (which is presumably needed to recover a password), I think this makes sense. Apple/Google has no way of knowing or verifying what the the server is doing with that data.

I expect there is a group of developers and tinkerers who used to run linux on the desktop (where Ubuntu traditionally was perhaps easier to use, especially on laptops with wifi, etc...), who switched to MacBooks and now develop and run the

They seem to be using "Super Retina" for all their OLED screens. (I agree with artimaeis the marketing is confusing and they should publish a glossary page with definitions for these terms).

Liquid refers to it being an LCD (Liquid-crystal display), so not OLED. Retina is Apple's name for a high pixel density display, in this case it's 2360x1640 pixels at 10" so 264 PPI?

Here in Ecuador it's mainly cash, but it's becoming more common to just do a normal bank transfer from a mobile phone. The banking app of my bank here (Pichincha) has a built-in option to share the payment as a .jpg via Whatsapp

Congrats on the design, using ZMK seems like a solid choice. Did you consider adding a small screen? I've always hated bluetooth keyboards until I built a Zaphod (which also runs ZMK). And just being able to see battery estimate, whet
